Soundlines is an interactive work created in collaboration
with Lorraine Walsh, Lei Han,
Nita Tandon & Christine Mackey.
The projection is the output of a MAX PATCH which displays a phrase
associated with each triggered sound.
This is integral to the original
idea of the sculpture as database and the display of these phrases
form
a type of concrete poetry and manifested as a text and transforms
the screen to a
continuously changing drawing.
